Adriatica

Adriatica is a permanent research project started in 2011 as a purely subjective exploration of the urban atmospheres of the Adriatic Riviera. This part of Italy has retained its suspended, Fellini-esque atmospheres, bordering between kitsch and neo-realism.
This work is my love song to this strip of Italian coastline, so dear to great filmmakers and photographers of the past.

Adriatica è un progetto di ricerca permanente iniziato nel 2011 come esplorazione, puramente soggettiva, delle atmosfere urbane della Riviera Adriatica. Questa parte d’Italia ha mantenuto le sue atmosfere sospese, felliniane, al limite tra kitsch e neorealismo.
Questo lavoro è la mia canzone d’amore per questa striscia di costa italiana, tanto cara a grandi cineasti e fotografi del passato.
