In 2014, I had the opportunity to closely follow a group of Drag Kings during their preparation.
The physical and mental transformation from woman to man that precedes their appearance on stage is a profound and complex phenomenon that touches very intimate aspects of individual identity.
The unique atmosphere of trust and respect within this group allowed me to closely portray this hidden world.

Nel 2014 ho avuto l’opportunità di seguire da vicino un gruppo di Drag Kings durante la loro preparazione.
La trasformazione fisica e mentale da donna ad uomo che precede l’entrata in scena è un fenomeno profondo e complesso, che va a toccare aspetti molto intimi dell’identità individuale.
L’atmosfera unica di fiducia e rispetto all’interno di questo gruppo mi ha permesso di ritrarre da vicino questo mondo segreto.
